Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Slatvo, a sports league management platform operated by Bowman Ventures LLC ("Slatvo," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, dashboard, coach portal, parent portal, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Slatvo

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an organization account. If you're a coach or League Admin invited by an organization, you're accepting these Terms on your own behalf and agreeing to use the Service only for legitimate league-management purposes on that organization's behalf.

Slatvo is a tool for adult league operators, coaches, and administrators. Players and parents do not create accounts - the parent portal and claim-code system are designed so parents can receive schedule and notification information without registering for the Service themselves.

2. Your account and organization

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Organizations are responsible for the accuracy of the league, team, schedule, and roster information they enter, and for obtaining any consent needed from players' parents/guardians before adding their contact information to the Service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Slatvo offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro, Unlimited) billed monthly or per-season through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice. SMS credit packs are one-time purchases and are non-refundable once texts have been sent using them.

You can cancel or change your plan at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

4. Notifications (SMS and email)

A core feature of Slatvo is sending game notifications (cancellations, delays, schedule changes, and general messages) to the contacts an organization adds for each player, by SMS and/or email. By adding a contact's phone number, the organization represents that it has that person's consent to receive text messages about their player's team - including messages sent via automated systems. Message and data rates may apply for SMS recipients. Recipients can typically opt out of SMS by replying STOP; organizations are responsible for honoring opt-outs where legally required.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service to send spam, harassing, or unlawful messages; upload content you don't have the right to share; attempt to access another organization's data; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law, including laws protecting children's privacy.

6. Content you provide

You retain ownership of the league, team, roster, and contact information you enter into Slatvo. You grant us a license to host, process, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the Service (for example, sending the notifications you request, or displaying a public league page you've chosen to make public).

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, don't pay applicable fees, or pose a security or legal risk to the Service or other users.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." We work to keep notifications timely and reliable, but we don't guarantee that every SMS or email will be delivered - carrier, network, and third-party issues are outside our control, and the Service should not be your only method of communicating time-critical changes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slatvo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
