Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bowman Ventures LLC ("Slatvo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information through the Slatvo platform (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Account information. When an organization signs up, we collect the owner's name, email, and password, and information about the organization (name, sport, plan).
League and roster data. Organizations, League Admins, and coaches enter league, season, team, and player information (such as a player's first name, last name, jersey number, and position) directly into Slatvo. This is entered and controlled by the organization, not by us.
Contact information. Organizations and coaches may add parent/guardian contact details (name, relationship, phone, and/or email) for a player, either directly or via a claim code the parent/guardian redeems themselves. This information is used solely to send that player's team's game notifications.
Payment information. Subscription and SMS credit payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers - Stripe handles that in accordance with its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS requirements.
Usage data. We automatically collect standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
2. Children's information
Slatvo is a tool for adult league operators, coaches, and parents/guardians - it is not directed at children, and children do not create accounts or otherwise directly provide us information. Player rosters may include a minor's first name, last name, jersey number, and position, entered by an adult coach or league operator for the purpose of running the league. We do not knowingly collect other personal information about children (such as date of birth, photos, or precise location), and organizations should not enter such information into player profiles.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service - schedules, standings, rosters, and the coach/parent portals.
- To send the SMS and email game notifications an organization or coach sends through the Service.
- To process subscription and SMS credit payments.
- To send account-related emails (password resets, invitations, low SMS-credit alerts).
- To maintain the security and reliability of the Service, and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use roster or contact data for advertising.
4. How we share information
We share information with the service providers that help us run Slatvo, each only for the purpose of providing their part of the Service: Stripe (payments), Telnyx (SMS delivery), our email delivery provider (email notifications), and our hosting infrastructure provider. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Slatvo, our users, or others. If an organization marks a league public, that league's schedule, standings, and team names become visible to anyone with the link or who finds it via search - organizations control this setting.
5. SMS and email communications
Phone numbers and email addresses added as player contacts are used only to send that player's team's notifications (cancellations, delays, schedule changes, and messages from the coach/organization). Recipients can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and organizations can remove a contact at any time from the dashboard.
6. Data retention
We retain organization, league, and contact data for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period after cancellation in case the organization wants to reactivate or export it. You can request deletion of your organization's data by contacting us.
7. Your choices
Organizations can edit or delete roster and contact information at any time from the dashboard. Contacts can reply STOP to stop receiving texts. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the information below.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls, and secure hosting) to protect information stored in Slatvo. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated policy here with a new "Last updated" date.
